SnBProv this week

Because of the holiday, I think that Bagel Gourmet is going to be closed this week, so tomorrow (Monday Feb 16) we'll be meeting at Panera at Providence Place Mall. It's on the same level as the storefronts that face Waterplace Park, sort of where the Borders used to be.

Also because of the holiday, some of us are planning to get there a little early, around 5 or 5:30 pm.

Hope to see you there!

Next week will (weather permitting) be back to normal at Bagel Gourmet Cafe.

Tonight: Panera at the mall / next week: Bagel Gourmet Cafe

Our usual meeting place, Bagel Gourmet Cafe, is closed for Martin Luther King day, so tonight we'll meet at Panera at the Providence Place Mall. I expect to be there around 5:30 or 6 pm. Hope to see you there!

Next week (and the weeks after that), I expect things will be back to normal, and we will be back at Bagel Gourmet Cafe (222 Richmond Street in Providence).

For further discussion and announcements, see the SnBProv Facebook group.

Planning the SnB anniversary party on Monday May 12

The first SnB ever was on April 27, 2004, so we're coming up on our ten year anniversary ... crazy! So as tradition requires, we're planning to meet at Gregg's for dinner, knitting, and door prizes.

The details are:

Where: Gregg's, 1303 North Main Street, Providence, RI
When: Monday May 12, 6:30 pm (people may meet for drinks earlier)

If you plan to come, please let me know so I'll have a reasonable idea of how big a reservation to make. (I'll call the reservation in earlier that day.)

If you haven't come to SnB in a while, this is a perfect time to catch up with everyone, and if you've never been to SnB, this is a great way to get to know everyone. What I'm saying is: You should come to this.

SnBProv moving to Bagel Gourmet Cafe

Three Sisters is going to be closed Monday nights, so we're switching venues. For now, at least, we'll be back at Bagel Gourmet Cafe. I think we'll continue to meet there for at least a little while, but will post if there's any change in plans.

Bagel Gourmet Cafe is inside the Brown Medical Education Building at the corner of Ship and Richmond Streets in the Jewelry district. I'll plan to get there around 6:30 pm.

In addition to bagels they have Mexican food, sandwiches, and actually kind of a variety of other food.

As always, crafters of all descriptions and experience levels are welcomed, and there aren't any dues or anything like that.

Hope to see you there!

At Bagel Gourmet Cafe tonight

Three Sisters is closed tonight (I believe they're renovating), so tonight we'll be at the Bagel Gourmet Cafe inside the Brown Medical Education Building at the corner of Ship and Richmond Streets in the Jewelry district. I'll plan to get there around 6:30 pm.

In addition to bagels they have Mexican food, sandwiches, and pizzas.

As always, crafters of all descriptions and experience levels are welcomed, and there aren't any dues or anything like that.

Hope to see you there!

Next week we'll be back at Three Sisters as usual.

SnBProv meeting on Mondays starting TONIGHT

Sorry for the late notification.

Starting tonight, SnBProv will be meeting every Monday at Three Sisters at 1074 Hope Street in Providence, near the end of Blackstone Boulevard and the Pawtucket line. I generally should be there around 6:30 pm.

There's some construction currently which complicates things a bit, but it should be possible to park in the lot behind Three Sisters, or on the street nearby.

As always, you can see the latest announcements and discussion on the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/17629716707/

Crafters of all types and skill levels are welcome, and there are no fees or anything like that. Hope to see you there!

At Lippett Park/Three Sisters tonight

Tonight we'll be meeting at Lippett Park on Hope Street in Providence near the Pawtucket border.

The weather is looking questionable, so I think most likely we'll end up at Three Sisters across the street. The address there is 1074 Hope Street in Providence.

There is on-street parking, and if we are at Three Sisters there is also a parking lot behind the building. I plan to get there around 6:30 pm.

We'll continue meeting here for a while, I think. I'll post if our plans change.

As always, crafters of all descriptions and experience levels are welcomed, and there aren't any dues or anything like that.
